Wednesday...

Well, it's 7:39pm. Michael came home tonight quite ill. He actually had to stop the car on the drive home so he could sick up. He walked in the door, took off his shoes and crashed on the couch. He keeps saying "I have to get better. My training..." His work arranged for him to go to some special 3 day training session. Today was day 1. Poor guy. I'll betcha he'll try to go to work tomorrow even if he's heaving up his innards.

My birthday on Monday was lovely. My sweet girlfriend Vikki came over and made me a birthday lunch! The children all played well together.

My gifts:
Vikki - lipstick in the perfect shade of pink. Yummy!
Auntie Kay - a lovely glass vase thingy with a lid that you can put seasonal decorative stuff in. Right now I have fake green apples in it - very pretty!
Auntie Myrna - the movie The Nativity Story that I begged for...
Nani Helen - one of those body & bath sets (lotion, shower gel, scrubby thing, etc). I can't remember the name of the scent right now, but it's a cross between ginger and coconut. Mmmmm!
Michael - New maternity clothes!!
Kim - a devotional book that I also cannot remember the name of and a Starbucks gift card. Cinnamon Dolce Latte, here I come!
Me - a new BIG skillet with lid. I've been wanting one forever and found one at Costco.

I even got a card in my mailbox on my birthday from a dear lady at church. And Kim sent me a package that I got on Tues, so it was like an extended birthday! And thanks to Scott and Tammy who posted birthday wishes for me. I did actually get to go potty alone 3 whole times!

Well, I'd better go see if I can get Michael to get up off the couch and go to bed. He's actually on the love seat, not the couch, so I would feel way too guilty leaving him there for the night. If you think of it, implore our Lord for his mercy and healing on my man, would you? We wouldn't want him to miss his training...

First of all, your poor husband...I hope it's just one of those 24 things that goes away quickly.

And so glad you had such a nice birthday...complete with gifts AND potty time! :)
