I won! I have recieved, to date, approximately 284 emails informing me that I have won the national lottery from Britian. This is highly exciting, especially since I do not recall ever entering the British Lottery. All they need is my bank account number, my Visa number and the last 4 digits of my social security number, and they'll wire over 1,234,567 pounds. How much is that anyway?
And what's with all the spam from Africa telling me that some political refugee finally got caught and wants to send me his money before the government kills him? There are some mighty generous strangers out there...
Anyway. So how are all of you doing on your New Years Resolutions so far? I've been doing great on my reading of Proverbs and am very proud of myself. Haven't gotten to any of the others yet, but have been doing other 'prep' things to prepare for them. Really, now. How can I paint the kitchen when all the blinds in the house need to be dusted? So, I'm down to 4 more blinds. If I do 2 today and 2 tomorrow, I can be done! Then all I need to do is get down on my hands and knees and scrub around the edges of the linoleum in preparation for painting. You know - the edge of the lino next to the baseboards that the mop never quite gets clean. I'll dust the baseboards while I'm down there, so the tape will stick when I'm ready to paint. I figure I'll do the scrubbing, and give Hannah and Nathan dry rags to mop up the water behind me. It could work...
Well, the kids want breakfast. I just gave them breakfast yesterday...
