$5 Savings Plan

Really, it's easy!  Every time you get a 5 dollar bill, stash it.  Once or twice a year, deposit your money in a savings account designated for whatever you are saving towards: a vacation, new carpet, the childrens winter wardrobe, etc...you get the idea.  Super simple idea, you'll never notice those 5 dollars.
