Nani Helen is scheduled to be released from rehab on Thursday! Family has been busy making a ramp for the front door, cleaning/organizing her bedroom, and generally sprucing things up.
She is doing so much better. She is not ever going to get back to 'normal' of course. This is the new normal. Walking slowly across a room, getting herself dressed, bathing herself, perhaps microwaving a cup of coffee is probably about all she'll be able to do for a very long while.
I plan to make dinner and take it over Thursday. Papa is perfectly capable of cooking, of course, but it's nice not to have to worry about it on the first day back, you know?
Thanks everyone for your prayers! I'm hoping Nani feels well enough to attend the Mother-Daughter luncheon on Sat with us...
