New Year's Resolution

I made a NY Resolution that I hesitate to share. Cuz I'm pretty sure I won't make it. I'll tell if you promise not to roll your eyes or raise your eyebrow or say anything along the lines of "I thought you weren't...". Promise?

I'm giving up soda.

Yep, that's right. And so far this year I've done it. A whole 10 days now. Except that it occured to me yesterday that it's not soda exactly that is killing my teeth, it's the carbolic acid in the soda. Which means that technically, I shouldn't be drinking beer, wine coolers, or sparkling lemonade either. sob...I drank the lemonade on Thurs...oops.

At least I still have coffee...

Good for you! It may be difficult at times, but is completely doable.

(I drink only water. If I'm sick I'll put lemon & honey in it. Apple or orange juice *maybe* 2-4 times a year. No coffee/soda/tea/milk/etc.)

Sarah, why not milk?

You can do it...I almost never drink soda anymore. Most of the time all I drink is water. I started that with weight watchers because I'd rather eat my points than drink them.

My problem is that soda is the only form of caffeine my body can handle. Of course, weaning myself off caffeine would probably be wise. I'm weark.
