Nothing Overly Interesting...

I know all 3 of you anxiously wait to read my blog, but really - nothing interesting is happening here!

I finished sewing Hannah a nightgown. I'll have to post a pic after Michael downloads the camera. I tried to download them, but apparently the stupid data port thingy only likes Michael. Trust me for now, the nightgown is, well...ugly. I mean, it turned out well as far as the sewing, and it's not too horrible thanks to the contrasting bodice, but seriously, the girl has some wild taste in fabrics.

I am now set to start my lovely project for her - a red hooded cape of red velvet. It will be floor length and tie under the chin. Sigh...she will look so princess-like wearing it. Shhhhhh! It's a Christmas present!

At some point I should make Nathan some winter jammies, but he has a couple pair that fit fine so I'm not feeling pressured on that one. Plus I have a couple scrapbook projects for Christmas that I need to work on. I have six weeks...no pressure.

Hmmm...what else? Don't forget to vote on my new poll. If it's a girl, Michael would like the middle name to be after his grandmother or his mother. We have no first names picked out yet, but I'm lobbying for Leah - I've always been a sucker for the underdog.

I wish I knew how to sew, I'd love to make clothes for my children (and at least one of my daughters would definitely pick out the wild fabrics, too!)

BTW...answering the question you left on my post...I have a ton of favorite old Southern gospel songs, but the one that Mom always sang (and reminds me of her because of that) is "Child of the King". Thanks for asking. :)
